The Alumni Association is dedicated to promoting the continued excellence of the School and nurturing a lifelong spirit of support and engagement among alumni, friends, and the community. The mission is threefold:

Champion and advance the interests of your alma mater
Encourage and support current students on their journey to becoming physicians
Create meaningful programs and opportunities that connect alumni with each other and with the School of Medicine

My goal is to foster a vibrant, engaged alumni community — one that remains closely connected to the place where your medical journey began.

Mission Statement

The Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine Alumni Association fosters lifelong connections among students, graduates, residents, fellows, and faculty by engaging alumni as ambassadors, advocates, benefactors, and partners in education. Through meaningful communication, collaboration, and celebration of shared values, the Association strengthens alumni relations as a vital force in advancing the School of Medicine’s mission and legacy.
